VALEDICTORIAN EVENT EVER
The High School Valedictorian Forum has been created to recognize and honor our country’s smartest high school students. This event not only recognizes their achievement in academics, it also will give them the keys to open the doors to their future careers. Our valedictorians will not only have the honor of addressing their classmates at commencement… they will also be honored with a seven night, all-expenses-paid trip to Honolulu, Hawaii.

Flights will arrive throughout the day from the mainland to the Honolulu International Airport. Each valedictorian will be greeted with a fresh flower lei by our airport staff and escorted to their vehicle provided by Roberts Hawaii. They will be transported to their assigned Waikiki resort and be met by Destination Hawaii travel staff and team leaders. Each will be presented with a welcome backpack filled with other Hawaiian gifts and detailed event information as they go through the check-in process.
All valedictorians will check into some of the island’s finest resorts. Two valedictorians will share a room with two separate beds and will be served a full breakfast buffet each morning commencing July 13 through 18, 2022.
Each valedictorian arriving early on Sunday will have time to explore some of the beautiful attractions Waikiki Beach has to offer, such as, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Diamond Head Crater and the most famous beach in the world. A prepaid debit card will be issued to the valedictorians to use as payment for any non-hosted meals that are not included in the weekly events. There are a wide variety of restaurants in Waikiki to satisfy all tastes… from Hawaiian food to MacDonalds.

After breakfast, the group will have a few hours of leisure time with their team leaders to settle into the Hawaiian environment of sun, sand, blue skies and refreshing trade winds. The group can also explore the nearby educational attractions like the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium.
All of the valedictorians will attend an opening evening program with their peers, postgraduate colleges and universities and representatives from the Fortune 1000.

The forum will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center. Valedictorians will have the opportunity to interact with the HR representatives from the Fortune 1000 and postgraduate colleges and universities. This will be an invaluable opportunity for them to network and get an in-depth picture of what is available to them in the near future, from internship programs to part-time employment. Lunch will be served at the center.
There are many restaurants in Waikiki that the group can enjoy, from Hawaiian style, Asian, American, Mexican, European cuisine and more. This evening’s dinner will be paid with their debit card that will be provided to them.
Fashion Night” will highlight some of the most prominent island and mainland USA designers as well as top models from for both areas. The island’s best DJ will mix it up with today's music, beauty and fashion.

On this day, valedictorians will have another opportunity to mingle with the Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, top colleges and universities. They will need their 2022 HSVF backpacks to bring home collateral material such as brochures and business cards to keep in touch with their contacts of interest.
The valedictorians will have this evening to use their debit cards to adventure around Waikiki to dine at an exotic venue or maybe play it safe at Burger King. Either way, they will have fun dining with their new friends. Networking with other high achievers from all over the nation and Hawaii will be a tremendous experience in itself.
At “Jazz Night Under The Hawaiian Stars” is where our valedictorians will experience some of the best contemporary jazz artists and their talents. These artists will introduce them to today’s popular jazz styles, giving them an evening to remember.

Life’s A Beach Day
Polynesian Cultural Center
Daily buffet breakfast will be provided at each of the resorts:
One half of the group will attend the ”Life’s A Beach” day on Waikiki Beach while the other half of the group will venture off to the north shore of Oahu to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The beach event will include activities like surfing lessons, stand up paddling lessons, outrigger canoe paddling and wave riding, Hawaiian catamaran cruises, Hawaiian throw net lessons, Hawaiian floral lei making, Hawaiian tattoo artists (the type that will wash off!), Hawaiian henna tattoo artists, photo booths, volleyball tournament and much more.
The other half of the group will enjoy Hawaii’s most popular attraction, the Polynesian Cultural Center. It is a feast for the senses. A lush retreat into the past, it captures the music, dance, and culture of six Pacific island cultures: Fiji, Tonga, Tahiti, Samoa, Aotearoa (New Zealand), and Hawaii. All guests will also truly enjoy the authentic luau dinner and a Polynesian show that boasts a cast of over 150 performers.

Today we flip the groups on the activities. On this special day the valedictorians will spend the morning volunteering their time and hearts to Hawaii. They will provide community services such as helping the homeless and do a clean-up project in Waikiki, working in both private, public companies and government agencies. This will be their way of giving back to the world and showing the state of Hawaii their appreciation for hosting a most memorable and life changing experience.
An amazing farewell concert will be held on the final evening for the valedictorians. All the students will enjoy an evening of entertainment by the island’s best entertainers. In addition, one of the most popular R&B artists in the world will close this very special event. This night promises to be the highlight of the entire program and a lasting memory for our future leaders.

Departures to Mainland
Valedictorians will be transported to the airport via shuttle buses by Roberts Hawaii ground transportation. Flights will depart all day from the Honolulu International Airport to the gateway cities on the mainland. Valedictorians will be greeted by airport staff to ensure their departure and arrival back to their home cities go smoothly.

We have created, in appreciation for our exhibitors who will greatly add to the success of this first annual HSVF, a private event to include amazing Hawaiian cultural artisans, a sumptuous luau dinner and a Polynesian show highlighting a variety of cultures and lifestyles through dance and song.
